Will these irritate my ears or turn them green?
Not likely. These earrings are made from solid 925 sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper alloy. For most people, sterling silver is hypoallergenic and causes no issues. If you have extreme sensitivity to copper, minor irritation is possible but uncommon. While the copper in sterling silver may cause discoloration for some individuals, this is unlikely with earrings and mostly occurs with rings due to exposure to water, lotions, and friction.

How do I keep them shiny?
A little routine maintenance goes a long way. We recommend wiping them down with a treated tarnish cloth when you first get your earrings. This will add an anti-tarnish shield to the metal, helping to maintain the shine and brilliance. Also, wipe them down again after each wear and store them in an air-tight container or pouch. Will they feel heavy or pull on my ears?
No. They're lightweight and designed for all-day comfort. Each earring weighs just under 1 gram, less than the weight of a paperclip.

Can I wear these while sleeping?
We don't recommend it. Dangle-style earrings, even smaller ones like these, can catch on bedding or hair while you sleep, which may damage the earrings or irritate your ears. They're also just not comfortable to sleep on.

Can I shower or swim in these?
Yes, they are entirely waterproof. However, soap, shampoo, and conditioner can leave buildup that dulls the polished finish over time, so we don’t recommend showering with them daily. For swimming, both chlorine and salt water can accelerate tarnishing, so it's best to remove them first. If you do wear them in the pool or ocean, rinse them with fresh water and dry them right away to minimize exposure.
